OUTLOOK
Issue 4 - Dec 2007
Welcome to the fourth installment of Outlook, the e-newsletter designed to keep you up-to-date with news and progress from The Watermark.
In this issue we focus on The Watermark Boutique Hotel's stunning and spacious luxury suites. Our sales program for the suites is targeted toward the New Zealand expatriate community, with the official sales launch kicking off in London, Dubai and Singapore in February.
We would like to encourage the residents of The Watermark, and their families and friends, to seriously consider investing in a Watermark Boutique Hotel's luxury suites, before they are all sold offshore. Please contact Aaron Nation on aaron@thewatermark.co.nz in January to discuss this exciting opportunity.
The Watermark Boutique Hotel

Regardless of whether you would like one, two or three bedrooms, all of the 54 fully self-contained luxury suites are deserving of the five star rating and all suites have full access to The Watermark's extensive amenities.
Luxury self-contained suites at Watermark Boutique Hotel start at $485,000 plus GST.
*On average, The Watermark Boutique Hotel suites are the largest hotel suites in Australasia.
The Watermark confirms Citron restaurant
Internationally acclaimed chef and well-known Wellington restaurateur Rex Morgan has confirmed he will own and operate two restaurants within The Watermark development, providing hotel guests and residents with several fantastic dining options.
"This is very exciting for us" said Citron chef and owner Rex Morgan of the move from Citron's current site in Upper Willis Street to The Watermark. "We are now working with the designers and briefing them on the concepts we want to achieve for both restaurants," said Rex.
Located in the ground floor, Citron's fine-dining restaurant will cater for 40 diners, and will offer a separate dining room for private parties. For a truly unique culinary experience, Citron will also be offering an exclusive table within the restaurant's kitchen for small groups to watch, learn, experience and taste fine cuisine from one of New Zealand's finest chefs.
The second restaurant being developed for The Watermark is a tapas-style restaurant catering for 60 diners in a lively but more casual setting. Outdoor seating will feature along with an upmarket wine bar.
Construction Update
Behind the scenes there are now over 100 people working on The Watermark project. While there has been little physical activity seen on-site, this is all about to change. Demolition of the old Markets building will start in February and will involve the recycling of some of the quality materials within, such as ancient kauri and matai, iron and other precious materials.
After demolition, recycling and site hording, on-site construction is on schedule to begin mid to late July 2008.
Wellington's Waterfront is "one of the best"
Wellington's waterfront has been voted one of the best examples of urban design within New Zealand and is first equal within both New Zealand and Australia.
Urban designers from both countries were asked to rate their favorite urban designs, and Wellington's waterfront was rated the best example of urban design and planning within New Zealand. Wellington's waterfront tied first equal with Brisbane's South Bank development and Melbourne's city centre.
The Watermark team would like to wish you all, "a safe and happy holiday season, and a prosperous new year".
