Donald views the growth of Land Equity not as simply adding milestones to a record, but as adding unique value to each project. Over 25 years he has developed more than $750 million of property.
The Terraces Hotel in Queenstown, completed in 1986, was to be the first of many significant developments.
Further relationships with the industry grew through opportunities with Chase Corporation, time in a very active UK market and extensive experience in Australia. In his last role Donald completed major developments as the General Manager of Hooker Projects commercial division in Sydney.
Donald returned to New Zealand in 1990, seeing the market as open to the business attitudes and skills on which Land Equity was to be built.
He sees experience as being the fundamental aspect on which Land Equity will continue to develop a strong point of difference in the New Zealand market.
